Launching a new website for children in care in Barnet.
We want a website that lets young people share, vent and inspire! That was the brief from Barnet’s Children in Care Council, and earlier this summer saw us work together and launch their new website - Barnet on Point.
Designed via a series of collaborative workshops, the look and feel of Barnet on Point is based around original illustrations created by council members themselves. It was great to see their work form such a fundamental part of the site.
As well as providing information, advice and tips about important subjects such as Rights, the Youth Offer, Who’s Who and the Children in Care Council the website also features competitions, opportunities for feedback on services and a chance for young people to contribute with blog articles and other content. Visitors to the website can also customise their browsing - choosing languages and a preferred colour scheme.
Barnet on Point also hosts the Care Leaver Local Offer from Barnet Council.
We hope the young people of Barnet enjoy their sharing, venting and inspiring!
