Accessibility

We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to as many people as possible - regardless of ability or the technology being used to view the website.

We adhere to many standards and guidelines recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) - the global authority on coding standards for building websites. This website has been built using compliant XHTML and CSS and has been tested for correct display in the following browsers and devices:

  •  On Windows: Latest versions of Google Chrome, Edge and Mozilla Firefox
  •  On Mac: latest versions of Google Chrome, Apple Safari and Mozilla Firefox

If you are using an older browser some sections of this website might not function or display correctly. It is good practice to keep your browser up to date. The newest versions of internet browsers also include:

  •  latest security features to keep you safe online.
  •  an enhanced experience when using our website.
  •  better support for assistive technologies, such as screen readers.

The steps we have taken to make content accessible on our website are detailed within our accessibility statement.

Inclusive by Design

We believe everybody is entitled to the same digital experience regardless of ability. Our digital solutions are inclusive by design, meaning we design and build our apps and websites to be accessible from the get-go. To do this we adhere to the Web content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) criteria which ensures the following and far more:

  • All text has sufficient contrast against the background colour
  • All important graphical objects, interface components, and states have a colour contrast of 3:1
  • All content is fully usable up to at least a 200% zoom
  • If styling is removed, the content is in a logical order
  • No content flashes or flickers
  • Users can flip the content horizontally and vertically
  • Images of text are not used
  • When using a keyboard to move through a page you can tell where you are

You can access our accessibility statement for further information.
