Next Steps App launched for Nottinghamshire County Council

It has been a really busy time for the focusgov team who, alongside the move to 100% remote working, have been building new apps and digital services to help local authorities support care leavers during this difficult time.

A few weeks ago we launched Notts Next Steps, a new app for care leavers throughout Nottinghamshire. The App is already being used to publish latest Covid-19 advice, and guidance on mental health.

There is also a ‘Discounts and Offers’ section which, when things get a little back to normal, will be full of exclusive offers for care leavers throughout the county, such as reductions at local restaurants, gym memberships and training and work opportunities. 

Notts Next Steps is a joint project between Nottinghamshire County Council and the seven district councils that make up Nottinghamshire, helping to ensure that local authorities at all tiers meet their statutory duties.
